Morton's Neuroma

A neuroma is a benign tumor or buildup of nerve tissue which can occur anywhere in the body. A Morton's Neuroma affects your feet. It is caused by a nerve being pinched at the base of the toes. It is common condition and most often causes burning and sore feet.

Treatment may include massage to alleviate some of the pain. If the condition is particularly bothersome, it may be necessary to inject the area with steroids or surgically remove the tissue causing the problem.
