 Are all employees allowed to participate?
All employees of the Orthopedic Hospital Of Oklahoma are invited to participate in the Employee Wellness Program.
Where is the wellness program located?
The Employee Wellness Program is housed in the Oklahoma Human Performance Center, where you will have access to the most up-to-date evaluation and exercise equipment of its kind.
How do I get started in the wellness program?
Simply call the Center to schedule an appointment for your initial evaluation. Your evaluation may include tests of strength, cardiovascular fitness, joint range of motion, body weight, body mass index and body fat measurements. You will need to schedule about one hour for this evaluation, plus any additional time for travel and changing into exercise clothes.
How does the program work?
Once your evaluation is completed, you will be given specific activities and exercises you can perform at the Center to reach specific goals. You will be re-evaluated every 12 weeks to measure progress. Besides the benefits of seeing improvements in fitness, you will be given credits, or points, toward rewards, such as company logo items -- even cash based on your salary or hourly wage!
