When you arrive for your
visit at the Imaging Center, you may use the Orthopedic Hospital of Oklahoma
valet parking services. The valets are located on the west side of the
main entrance under the 60-story tower.
The valets will park your
vehicle and return it to you when you are ready to leave. If you prefer
to park your own vehicle, you will find ample additional parking on the
CityPlex campus.
You and
your family will be escorted to the third floor Imaging Center location,
adjacent to the Family Waiting Area. If you prefer not to be escorted,
we encourage you to stop at the first floor reception station of the Orthopedic
Hospital of Oklahoma for precise instructions on getting to the Imaging
Center.
You should arrive at the
Imaging Center approximately 30 minutes before your scheduled appointment.
You will need to sign in at the Imaging Center reception desk and you may
be asked to finish any paperwork that has not been completed prior to your
visit.
It may be a good idea to
have medical history information and other pertinent information about
your physical health readily available to complete necessary forms.
You will also need to have
your insurance card, a driver's license or picture identification, and
original procedure order available so one of our associates can make a
copy of these documents for your file.
Depending on the procedure you are having done, a wristband may be affixed to your wrist. You will then be seated in our comfortable waiting area
until you are called for your test. We make every effort to remain on schedule.
If you have been waiting for longer than 30 minutes, please notify our
receptionist.
It is important that you
follow any instructions your physician has given in preparation for the
procedure. If you have any questions, please talk with your doctor prior
to your procedure, or visit with one of our associates who will direct
you to the appropriate resource for the information you need.
