Orthopedic Hospital of Oklahoma

At the Imaging Center, we have gone to great lengths to ensure our patients have the best technological advantages when they come to us for diagnostic imaging, and we have partnered with a radiology group, NOIA, that is widely recognized as the leader in MRI scan interpretation.

  • First, you need to have your scan done by a high quality machine that features state-of-the-art technology. New MRI systems, such as the high-powered 1.5T Signa MRI system used by the Imaging Center, provide radiologists with 25 times more information than other MRI systems commonly used. Remember, the result of your scan is only as good as the scanner itself.

  •
  • Second, make sure your readings are being done by skilled radiologists who have a good deal of experience in reading MRI scans. At the Imaging Center, our MRI scans are read by radiologists from National Orthopedic Imaging Associates (NOIA), recognized leaders in interpreting scans.

If you are scheduled for an imaging procedure, we encourage you to talk with your doctor about the capabilities of the organization that will be doing the scans.
