• As the date for your operation approaches, it is important that you contact your doctor’s office if you develop a cold, cough, stomach flu, fever, or rash. Please contact your physician if you experience any of these or other problems, since it may be necessary to reschedule your surgery.
• If you have an Advance Medical Directive, you should bring a copy of the directive with you and give it to your nurse on the morning of your surgery. If you do not have an Advance Medical Directive and would like assistance in creating one, your Case Manager will help you in obtaining and completing the necessary forms and information.
